What Prospective Applicants Should Do

Anyone planning to apply for an INEC ad-hoc position should prepare ahead of the application deadline.

Applicants are advised to:

  1. Confirm their eligibility for the specific position they intend to apply for.
  2. Prepare their documents before beginning the application.
  3. Use an active email address and phone number for communication.
  4. Review the official application instructions carefully.
  5. Apply early rather than waiting until the final hours of the application window.
  6. Keep their acknowledgement slip after completing the application.
  7. Use only official INEC platforms when submitting personal information.

Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not necessarily guarantee selection. Recruitment and deployment will depend on INEC’s staffing requirements and the successful completion of the required stages of the process.

Why the 2027 INEC Ad-Hoc Recruitment Matters

The 2027 General Election will require a significant number of temporary election personnel to support activities at polling units, collation centres and other election-related locations.

For Nigerians who meet the requirements, the recruitment exercise provides an opportunity to participate directly in the electoral process by supporting the conduct of the election.

Applicants should therefore review the requirements carefully, prepare their documents and complete their applications through the official INECPRES platform before the November 18, 2026 deadline.
